MMMMM

OK, we have to admit that we were kinda harsh about Mom's crappy cooking skills in the other post. Yea, she's no Wolfgang Puck but we started our new food the other night and we're likin' it so far. Tonight we had our new grain free kibble (eh, kinda blah) and then Mom made stuff to mix in it. We had wheat pasta (not sure why we can't have the white kind), peas (yuck but tolerable), some yummy chicken and eggs.

OK, it looks kinda dry but she's just starting out so we're trying to be positive. This shot is for Wally since it's Sam AND food all in one. She thinks she's a Princess and has to have her Royal Rump on the faux fur floor pillows.

Later on we got "dessert" - well she called it dessert but it was more healthy stuff in disguise. Chopped up apples and vanilla yogurt....not cheesecake but still ok. Bear was smart and just licked the apples clean then gave them to us.
We wonder what tomorrow will be...hopefully steak and gravy. We're starting to worry she's going to make us eat doggie tofu soon.

PS She thinks we don't know she hid vitamins and stuff in there but WE KNOW.

Your servant sure is going to a lot of work to make healthy meals and snacks for you. You guys are really lucky. We just get kibble and some canned food and some cottage cheese ... oh, and a couple of treats. We're not sure Mom will ever cook for us.

Dot, I am wondering why your bowl is so tiny and Sam's bowl is so big??? Goodness, why didn't you get the big bowl? You are the PRINCESS, aren't you?

I have never heard of doggies having apples! Very interesting, let me know how that works out for you!

Hey that looks really good. Did you mention what grain free kibble you are getting?

I LOVE Apples...but I've never had pasta...I'm going to have to get my Mom to make me some pasta.

Can't wait to hear about more of your culinary adventures.

Lots of Licks, Ruby

Look at how my sweet little flower, Dot nibbles at her food. I'm a tad bit more messy.

My Mom tries to play that "hide the pills in the food" trick & I play a cool trick on her right back...when I don't eat my pills in my food, she hides them in a piece of hotdog! So I get all of my food AND some pieces of hotdog...and Penny & Lola get none.

I'm so smart.

New food is always fun! It seems you guys liked it. We get boiled ground turkey and plain, non-fat yogurt in with our kibble. Licking the spoon with the yogurt on it is a great appetizer! Have fun with your food experiments! Tasha & Eva.

My human has also been trying to figure out what to feed me. Yours looks really yummy, I'm envious!

NO WAY! All I get is dry prescription food. NOT FAIR!!!

If the FleasGang saw this, we'd be in serious trouble. They're like Tad and all they eat is regular ol' dry food. Even their treats are the same except in "bone" looking form.

I'm thinking that they may actually be eating better than me. I'll have to discuss this with the misses :-)

Doggie tofu I can't imagine yuck! But it does look good what you are eating, but then I'm not a fussy eater, I'd eat anything and I hope mom got the bit about apples and yogurt that sounds yummy!

BIG hugs from Billy Boo:)

Wow that looks delicious! How did Bear's heartworm treatment go? Is he being good and calm?

I think licking the apples clean is a lab thing. I would have done the same thing - we're a really smart breed, aren't we Bear?

I won't touch veggies or fruit - EVER!

I'm so nervous about it. :(

Hey - that food doesn't look too bad. You should see my Mom's cooking. I get chix and baby carrots most of the time mixed with my kibbles and skin/coat supplement.
I love apples with yogurt too..that's my dessert. hehe

I just have to say peas are brilliant. I love them. Raw. Cooked. Curried. Now the season has finished so I have to wait months for more peas. SadPealessPippadog. Hey Thrawn - pleased you are feeling better.
