A whole lotta nothin' going on.

Tucker-Doodle here, since Thrawn gave you a photo montage of our day yesterday I thought I'd do the same. Our lives have been boring the last day though so consider yourself warned.

We'll start with last night - I want to go on the record that I did NOT teach him this bad habit. Mom came in the bedroom and he was there, I had nothing to do with it. I swear. (What's up with my alien eyes?!) Oh and that's NOT my Princess pillow. It's not.

Later on I found him in the itty-bitty bed that I sometimes use. I don't know how he got that whole body in there. Weirdo. Seriously, the tag that came on it had a picture of a Cocker Spaniel in it.

She left us all home today, nobody got to go to the office. Poor us. When she finally showed back up we all had some serious bonding and playtime. First I tutored Bear on his pathetic look - I think he's coming along great, huh? I'm such a good teacher.

You can't really tell what's going on here so I'll explain. Thrawn tripped and fell over Bear, we're talking WWE body slam falling on top of him. We all stared and waited to see if Mr. Stone-Face would finally crack and snap at him. Nada. Zippo. He just laid back on the ground until Thrawn could get his footing to get off of him. (and it wasn't quick) You'd think he'd rescued a litter of puppies from Cruella herself the way Mom fawned all over him and praised him after that. Geez. How many times has he fallen on me and I didn't yell about it?!

Once he was down on the ground I think he wanted to play with me...he started rolling on his back and making some strange noises. I was kind of worried he was going to eat me so I got off the couch to check it out. That was the first time we've heard his voice and it's kinda weird. I'll get used to it though if it means playing.
This would have been an awesome picture of all five of us if Mom didn't cut Dot's head off. Humans. You can't rely on them for anything.
Here's a picture of Thrawn. He was going beat me up if I didn't include it. To get even I picked the picture of his tongue looking funny. Ha.

Finally, we're sending a shout out to Nana for our cool new bed. We love it. Wally - Samantha said there's PLENTY of room for you on here too...

Hopefully we'll do something exciting soon. -Doodle & The Brat Pack

Hey Tucker,
It is so heart-warming to see the five of you having fun! And from Bear's encounter with Thrawn, I think he's got a good temperament.. Bear is so lucky to have all of you!

Oh Bear is Mr Stone face? He's so nice to Thrawn.

Good job Bear! He probably knows how good he has it now & doesn't want to mess it up!

The picture of Sam on the bed is my favorite. Does that face let her get away with everything???? Too cute!

Wow Tucker - you're a great teacher! That pathetic face is one of the best I've ever seen!

Your post made my girl say "awww!" lots of times and made me wag my tail. We're so glad your Chocolate Bear is getting comfortable and starting to play!

I told you labs are a lot of fun! I do that same thing of rolling on my back and making funny noises when I want to play.
It looks like you're a wonderful teacher! Keep up the good work. It looks like Bear is a fast learner, too. I'm glad he was patient with Thrawn.

This one is for your mama guys:

WAS THAT AN ANGEL?

The young pup and the older dog lay on shaded sweet grass watching the reunions. Sometimes a man, sometimes a woman, sometimes a whole family would approach the rainbow bridge, be greeted by their loving pets and cross the bridge together.

The young pup playfully nipped at the older one. "Look! Something wonderful is happening!"

The older dog stood up and barked, "Quickly. Get over to the path."

"But that's not my person," whined the pup, but he did as he was told.

Thousands of pets surged forward as a figure in white walked on the path toward the bridge. As the glowing figure passed each animal, that animal bowed it's head in love and respect.

The figure finally approached the bridge, and was met by a menagerie of joyous animals; together, they all walked over the bridge and disappeared. The young pup was still in awe. "Was that an angel?" he whispered.

"No, son," the older dog replied. "That was more than an angel. That was a person who worked rescue."

OK, your pack is AWESOME. My ma is so jealous she doesn't have a big diverse and rollicking pack, too. I do the rolling on my back/grunting transition into play, too!

Sam's bed looks totally comfortable. And we both have short legs so we'd totally both fit! Score!

These are great pics! Bear looks quite happy to be safe and loved. Too bad about his heartworm .... poor guy. I hope he's much better after and gets to play like crazy when he's better.

p.s. We love Sam!
