We'll start with last night - I want to go on the record that I did NOT teach him this bad habit. Mom came in the bedroom and he was there, I had nothing to do with it. I swear. (What's up with my alien eyes?!) Oh and that's NOT my Princess pillow. It's not.
Later on I found him in the itty-bitty bed that I sometimes use. I don't know how he got that whole body in there. Weirdo. Seriously, the tag that came on it had a picture of a Cocker Spaniel in it.
She left us all home today, nobody got to go to the office. Poor us. When she finally showed back up we all had some serious bonding and playtime. First I tutored Bear on his pathetic look - I think he's coming along great, huh? I'm such a good teacher.
You can't really tell what's going on here so I'll explain. Thrawn tripped and fell over Bear, we're talking WWE body slam falling on top of him. We all stared and waited to see if Mr. Stone-Face would finally crack and snap at him. Nada. Zippo. He just laid back on the ground until Thrawn could get his footing to get off of him. (and it wasn't quick) You'd think he'd rescued a litter of puppies from Cruella herself the way Mom fawned all over him and praised him after that. Geez. How many times has he fallen on me and I didn't yell about it?!
Once he was down on the ground I think he wanted to play with me...he started rolling on his back and making some strange noises. I was kind of worried he was going to eat me so I got off the couch to check it out. That was the first time we've heard his voice and it's kinda weird. I'll get used to it though if it means playing. Finally, we're sending a shout out to Nana for our cool new bed. We love it. Wally - Samantha said there's PLENTY of room for you on here too...
Hopefully we'll do something exciting soon. -Doodle & The Brat Pack

Tucker...
I love that you and Bear are on the bed together. The Bear Doughnut is the best! I love the pic of all of you although Dot's head is cut off :( I am so glad that Bear has all of you. It makes my heart smile BIG!
Hugs, Sitka
Those pictures are so sweet and seeing Bear just enjoying being a dog and loved brings tears to my eyes.
You guys look like you are having a great time. I sat on the chair behind my mom's head watching her start a blog for me.
It's about time...sheesh I have lots to say!!
Harley - We're VERY excited about your blog. We've been telling our Mom to tell your Mom to let you have a blog for AGES. We added your link to our Pals list too.

Hey Tucker,
It is so heart-warming to see the five of you having fun! And from Bear's encounter with Thrawn, I think he's got a good temperament.. Bear is so lucky to have all of you!
Nothing like a pack of hounds to show a dog how to act like a dog! You guys are great and we are glad we know you!

Oh wow, for a moment I thought Bear was going to snap at Thawn. Phew...he seems like he really wants to play with you Tucker. Looks like you have a new buddy to play with!
Oh Bear is Mr Stone face? He's so nice to Thrawn.
And that is a pretty funny picture of Thrawn sticking his tongue out there.

Good job Bear! He probably knows how good he has it now & doesn't want to mess it up!
The picture of Sam on the bed is my favorite. Does that face let her get away with everything???? Too cute!

Wow Tucker - you're a great teacher! That pathetic face is one of the best I've ever seen!
Your post made my girl say "awww!" lots of times and made me wag my tail. We're so glad your Chocolate Bear is getting comfortable and starting to play!
I told you labs are a lot of fun! I do that same thing of rolling on my back and making funny noises when I want to play.
It looks like you're a wonderful teacher! Keep up the good work. It looks like Bear is a fast learner, too. I'm glad he was patient with Thrawn.

Bear is one cool dog. I want to roll around and play with him and I wouldn't even mind his slobber! :)
Tucker, I really like your princess pillow. It just shows you're comfortable with your masculinity...hehehe!

This one is for your mama guys:
WAS THAT AN ANGEL?
The young pup and the older dog lay on shaded sweet grass watching the reunions. Sometimes a man, sometimes a woman, sometimes a whole family would approach the rainbow bridge, be greeted by their loving pets and cross the bridge together.
The young pup playfully nipped at the older one. "Look! Something wonderful is happening!"
The older dog stood up and barked, "Quickly. Get over to the path."
"But that's not my person," whined the pup, but he did as he was told.
Thousands of pets surged forward as a figure in white walked on the path toward the bridge. As the glowing figure passed each animal, that animal bowed it's head in love and respect.
The figure finally approached the bridge, and was met by a menagerie of joyous animals; together, they all walked over the bridge and disappeared. The young pup was still in awe. "Was that an angel?" he whispered.
"No, son," the older dog replied. "That was more than an angel. That was a person who worked rescue."

Lotsa licks Brat Pack Mama...you Rule.
Bear in that tiny bed...too funny. Even on a boring day you guys look like you are having lots of fun!
Lots of Licks, Ruby
OK, your pack is AWESOME. My ma is so jealous she doesn't have a big diverse and rollicking pack, too. I do the rolling on my back/grunting transition into play, too!
Sam's bed looks totally comfortable. And we both have short legs so we'd totally both fit! Score!
wally.
Excellent photos and we love your foster brother Bear. I think I have a serious Lab crush on him!!
Love, Dory
These are great pics! Bear looks quite happy to be safe and loved. Too bad about his heartworm .... poor guy. I hope he's much better after and gets to play like crazy when he's better.
p.s. We love Sam!
