A potential disaster

It's Samantha.  We have issues here.

You might remember the picture of Dot-Spot a couple weeks ago watching the squirrels outside the front window...well, now there are all kinds of birds too and Bear stares at them ALL the time.

Not that big of a deal, right?

A couple days ago DUCKS started showing up and they eat all the stuff the birds & squirrels throw to the ground, then just hang out like tempting morsels 5 foot outside the big window.

Kinda a big deal, right?

Today the dreaded C-A-T that lives across the street showed up....to hide in the yard to stalk the ducks that are watching the squirrels for the food.  Well, Bear HATES that C-A-T...even more than he wants to chase the ducks he absolutely can NOT stand the C-A-T.

Now it's a BIG flipping deal.

Bear keeps trying to lunge through the window at the C-A-T who is trying to eat the ducks who are just trying to eat the squirrel leftovers in the front yard.  I hope the glass holds.

Oh my goodness. I hope it holds to. Mom says she hopes it does also since your poor mom would have to shell out the bucks for that window.

Oiy!!! Hope the glass holds and the duckies move to a different yard so the K-H-A-T leaves so Bear-a-fus can be in peace.

Oh no! Be careful Bear! Do you need me to come down and have a chat with the cat?

My ma ape got us a duck yesterday! 99 cents a pound. But it is one in a bag. And it came with a bag of orange sauce, apparently. We could send you one to give to the cat to bug off?

ps. We have ducks near our house too! We ignore them mostly, though I like to chase geese. But now that we've actually caught a bird maybe all bets or off. Or maybe the ducks would chase US!

My ma ape said something about visiting Waylon tomorrow but she said he might not be ready to come home cuz we might bust his stitches! He's real wee--1.5 months!

I don't know what on earth she's talking about. I wonder whose home he will be going to?

Great - sounds like an open invitation for the old woman who swallowed the fly. You really have trouble on your hands if she shows up!

Sam,

I had a scary weekend. This thing with teeny tiny shark teeth showed up. And he looked like a naked mole rat but everyone fawned over him. I thought maybe we could trade him with your pack for you but the ma ape said no. She's been leaking since she had to take The Thing back but I've chilled out and my ticker is working normally again so she thinks she did the right thing. Oscar Bean can;t wait until some day he can have a little pit boo friend again. Oh man would he and Rulon have the bromance of the century.

Bear needs to do some patrols. It sounds like your front yard is turning into a real zoo!

Hi Twinkle,
When I read the title of your post, I thought for a moment if Hershey somehow escaped and sneaked over to your house! Heehee..

OMdoG, I hope that glass hold no matter what!!
I'm not concerned abt what the C.A.T will think, but I am sure your mom will NOT be happy if the glass gives way...

Why not do a premptive relocation of the primary food source that has instigated the food chain problem? If Bear goes through the window he could get cut up pretty badly.
