Life

Samantha here...our life has been weird lately. We're SUPER far behind on reading blogs and are trying to catch up. :( The humans breathed on each other and one made the other sick. The good part was Mom was home for three days with us. The bad part is she didn't get out of bed and was g-r-u-m-p-y. She even yelled at us a couple times. I know. I'm still hurt. She said it's becuz she was trying to rest and we were like this all day long:
Nana finally named our new cuzn...she's Ginger aka GingerSNAP! She's wild and crazy, only the boys have met her so far but Tucker-Doodle reeeeeally liked her and chased her all over the yard. Mom kept Rulon-Doof on a leash because he doesn't know his own strength yet plus he has "excitement management" issues. Looooser.
Drama alert...Friday night we each had a buffalo marrow bone and were chomping away, Dot was up and moving around then all of a sudden she started acting like she was having a seizure. The humans freaked and started shoving their hands down her throat trying to pull out whatever was in there...it was WAY down but caught and she couldn't breathe. The people could touch it with their fingertips but couldn't grab it so then they grabbed her around the middle and tried to squeeze it out of her and we were all going nutso barking and it was MADNESS. Finally it went down but her mouth and throat were really sore from everything happening, her bottom jaw wouldn't stop shaking and it was freaking the people out. Worse yet during the excitement she hurt her front leg and is still limping today but getting better. The rest of the weekend the humans followed her around the backyard to make sure she's pooping and everything is working right. On a side note, when they were trying to reach down her throat she managed to chomp down on both of them, their hands still aren't feeling too good. Here she is feeling better...(uh, I think that's a treat stuck in her teeth....gross)
Bear did nothing all weekend.
The sick people did everything to tire the pitiful pittie out so they could sleep in peace. He doesn't listen when he's in BRAT-MODE.

This is a secret message to our pals who might be bringing the coolest kinda dog to their life. (I hope I'm the Dogmother) Sorry about Dot's loud mouth, she always has something useless to say.

Tucker yelled at me earlier for NOTHING and so I'm not posting a picture of him today. Ha.
xoxo - Sam

Whose adopting a bassett? I just couldn't hear in that video. Mom met a bassett puppy at work the other day.

I'm sure glad Dot Spot is okay. I get bison bones all the time and now mom is going to stand over me while I chew it.

I sure hope your peoples are feeling better.

Sounds like things are busy there. Human sickness must be going around. Mom doesn't like it when we wrestle on top of her or stand on her hair. Weird.

Heya Brats,
Y'all ain't cutting enough cheese in the house. Ya gotta fumigate all the Pigs Flew germs. That 'll get the peeps up and about soon enough. We think that if Dot slurped some honey on vanilla bean ice cream it would make her feel better. Roulon Mooch sure does a good sit on command but we can all do it like that too. Samantha is beautiful and she has such a soothing voice. We're all in the Samantha Fan Club, Bumpass Chapter. We have 13 members, one up from last week.
