Sunday....yaaaaawn

Hi Guys, it's me, Bear. Dog, am I tired today but I got up anyway in case the humans were making eggs. In case you're wondering, they didn't. So now we're just hanging around having a lazy Sunday morning while Mom drinks that hot stuff that takes the grumpies away. I think Dot needs some too.

Some might think I'm not very deep, what with my handsome good looks and all, but that's soooo not the truth. I've been pondering a lot how to make a difference in the world and think I've got it. You all know how much we (and Mom) love Best Friends and this past week they stepped in to help a LOT of dogs in Missouri. You can read about it here. There was a puppy mill that was being shut down, when local authorities showed up to rescue the dogs the owner started shooting wildly and set fire to the buildings where the dogs were kept. Scary, right?? I can't imagine how freaked those poor dogs were. So then there were over 200 scared dogs running loose, some injured from the fire, nursing moms, puppies, you name it. Crazy, huh? The thing with Best Friends is they help animals all over the world and work to make animals life better. Like Rulon the nerd says, Best Friends works to fight laws that might make him have to leave our pack just cause of who he is. By that way, if that ever happened Mom said we were packing up and going to live with Opy & Charlie.

We were just complaining to Mom the other night how we really didn't care for those new treats she bought us and now we feel bad because we're sooooo lucky to be living the good life here. I decided that instead of taking me to the Caribbean for my barkday like I'm sure she had planned I want to have a blog pawty for Best Friends and invite all my bloggin' friends. I'm workin' on details now and will have my lovely assistant post info soon. I hope you can all come, I think it's gonna be fun.

Oh, my lovely assistant wanted me to post her picture on patrol duty.
Thanks for listening to a silly old Bear. (OK, ok, I stole that from Pooh. That bear has a copyright on all the good lines)

Bear, we think that is a marvelous idea. I hope that Millie will let Teka come too. Might be a bit of rivalry there.

Good idea Bear Dog. If you have room, we'll all come along, even Shiloh and Max. Can we go to Graceland? TCB? TLC? Whatever.
