Sizzle.

It's hot. Undogly hot. We were mad when Mom left us for a while today until she came back and showed us THIS: (yes, we were concerned she was taking pictures while going 65 mph down the road but thankfully we weren't in the car)
110 degrees. We might as well live on the sun. No thanks to going out, we'll just sleep in the cold, dark bedroom till Fall.

We did get to go for a drive to Sonic late yesterday, we even picked Nana up to ride with us. It was fun but we don't have any pictures of ice cream because Mom said we were a "handful". Whatever that means.

Oh and we went to Nana's house for a little while to play today. We had to ride over in our Brat Mobile because the ground was too hot for our paws to walk over. We didn't do much playing there though, mostly we just hung out in the air conditioned house with Buddy and Shadow. That's it, our lives have been really boring lately mostly cuz it's so hot. At least there hasn't been storms too.

Hey, are any of you DFW doggies going to the Operation Kindness Dog Day Afternoon next month? Mom is registering Bear and Tucker, us girls don't want to go because we don't like the water. The boys are all excited because they get to go to a water park with a lazy river, wave pool and everything. Dorks. Anyway, let us know if you're going and maybe you guyz can all meet up or something. Here's the info:

They're probably going to do the Pledge Walk first too.

I think we're getting Frosty Paws, gotta scoot. ---Samantha

we haven't been doing anything here either as it was like 108 or something yesterday. We've been having thunderstorms though. That dog day thing looks like fun.

Holy cow! I would do anything to go and hang out at a lazy river with Bear. Tucker too, but mostly Bear.

Who needs walkies when it's that hot - glad your Mum realised you might burn your toosie pads and drove you to Nana's in the air con brat waggon.
I don't like water either Samantha - I'd stay at home with you. ;)

At least you got to go to Sonic. That's the only good thing. We almost went to that Operation Kindness thing last summer, but I can't remember why we didn't go. Too bad we can't all meet up this summer. We're doing a thing called the PAWS Walk in September. It's got the same thing with the Pledge walk. Good luck!!

Hey Dawgs,
That sure looks like a mini temperature gauge, is it? Because I sure love mom&dad's minis - yes plural!!!!

Samantha, you are one sweet looking she-dawg. I'm probably to old for you but I just want to show I can appreciate the finer things in life!

WOW! That is HOT!

And I"m talking about the pho-to of Sam, of course.

It has been warm here, too. AND we've had storms. The worst of all worlds!

It's blazing hot here in Canada too but we're not complaining too much after all the snow we got this past winter. We earned this heat!!

Stay cool.

WOW! How does a pup get used to the HOT WEATHER! I swear, I don't know what I would do without my AC vent.

P.S. Sitka is also worried about the picture taking and 65 mph!

110? I think it's only gotten to 104 here which I thought was horrible. I wish my mom would take us to Sonic!! It's clear across town now and out of the way and stuff...excuses, excuses.
I wish I could go to that water park thing!!! That sounds like a ton of fun!!!
