Available Irving Shelter Dogs

There are a lot of stand-outs in this group of urgents. :(
All of these owner surrenders are probably so scared and confused as to why they're in the shelter. I just hate it. The people who "adopted" Bonnie the Boxer brought her back because she's heartworm positive so now she's rescue only. We'll donate a welcome home box of supplies and goodies to anyone who adopts or any rescues that can pull any of these angels. -Maryann

I hope those doggies will get help and have a warm furever home.

People suck. I hate this time of year at the shelter. Actually, February is particularly bad...all of those Xmas puppies come
back :o(.

Poor darling - there are always too many dogs to rescue everywhere in the world.

You have a great heart maryann.

Hope you and the pack have a good new year.

Oh I'm not a rescue but I wish Bonnie could come here and get better. All those poor babies.

Thanks so much for your blog--and for calling attention to how many dogs are "surrendered" every year. Talk about a euphemism if ever there were one! We'll keep our fingers (and paws) crossed that they found homes soon.

Um, do they not know that heartworms are treatable? They just didn't want to bother. Didn't you have to treat Bear for that when he first came home? But you are different as are the rest of us who have ever been involved in rescue. We know animals aren't disposable. They're for keeps.

Hopefully someone can help these pups!

They need to find a greta furever home like all of us did!
