OK, here's the plan...

Listen up doggies - next time you get accused of doing something destructive here's your out...

"BOSTON (AP) -- The World Series ball is gone, and Jonathan Papelbon has an excuse: My dog ate it.

Farfetched or not, that's what the Red Sox closer insists happened to the souvenir from the final out of Boston's sweep this year.

Really, Papelbon blamed it on his bulldog, Boss.

"He plays with baseballs like they are his toys," Papelbon told the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American. "He jumped up one day on the counter and snatched it. He likes rawhide. He tore that thing to pieces. Nobody knows that. I'll keep what's left of it." "

Just remember to say...."but look what Boss did!!!" You're sure to get off the hook. Unless, of course, Boss was falsely accused like so many of us.

I really think this is another false accusation - don't you? It's easy to blame the dog. I think a biped did it. REally.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! I heard this story on the news but forgot to blog about it. It's especially awesome because it is a stupid Red Sox ball! I bet that bulldog is a Cubs fan! :)

Hi, friends.
I read the story this morning and it sounds like a good excuse!
Poor Boss. Now he has a bad reputation!
Have a good night

At least he didn't blame me - mom thought I was the only counter surfer in the greater Boston area!

Sounds to us like Boss was framed! Why do they always blame the dog? What did we ever do to them ... hmmm, maybe it's better not to answer that question.

Sure, of course, they always blame it on the dog who can't talk and defend himself.
