Ho Ho Ho

Hi Pals, it's Dot-Spot!

Well, we're super duper late but I'm not taking all the blame...Aunt Jan is sloooooow too. :) We finally have her picks for the Letters to Santa contest. Here's the mail she sent us...

"After printing 3 copies of the letters (one for my desk at home, one for school and one for the road) I keep coming back to the letter written by RAMSEY.

It tears me up for this precious animal to want a home, the home he has, and not get it....so if Santa could grant him that wish, it would be the best Christmas ever!
So, Ramsey, YOU should get your home and the 1st place prize!

Cooper, your letter was by far the most CREATIVE...Kangaroo pooh would be much better than the cat pooh you find in the grass in your back yard! Your request is most unique, and funny, too!

Maggie and Mitch--you two must love each other very much...a pizza parlor to share and ice cream, too. I never knew doggies ate pizza (except for Thrawn) !!!

Orion & Cassie---most creative 12 days of Christmas, not only for yourselves, but for all the DWB's...

Johann---your poem was so well written and very touching, funny and creative...I would give you an A+ if you were in my 6th grade class....maybe you should be our visiting author during LIBRARY Week!!!!

These pictures were not entered "for the contest" but I could not resist:

Steve, Kat and Wilbur---1st place for the picture perfect Christmas Card

Pugsley, Buster, Cricket & Daisy---2nd place for the Santa Hat picture that warms my heart!"

Congrats to Aunt Jan's picks but hold on a second...we have MORE news! We had a special delivery from the North Pole with a little something for all of our contestants! If we don't have your address yet please email it to us at fivehappyhounds @ gmail . com and hopefully it will get there by Christmas.

Thanks to everyone who played with us, sorry we were late and if we have another contest we promise to be better hosts!

Love from all of us!

Hey Five Happy Hounds,
I'm sure Ramsey would thank you for your award if only my lap top at home wasn't closed.

So I'll thank you for him. All the entries were great and its an honor to be picked.

Happy Holidays and good luck with everyone's wishes.

Oh Mama just told me the good news.

She came home from workies (that annoying thing that keeps her from playing with me all day) and said Goober Puss (one of my least favorite nicknames) "Guess What!?",

While i thought she had finally decided to keep me furever. I mean who wouldn't want me furever. But no such luck.

But winning this cool contest from you cool dogs is pretty great too!

Thank you Brat Pack for hosting it, Aunt Jan for picking me and of course all the wonderful contestants!

I hope you all get your Christmas Wishes.

Happy, happy
Ramsey

We loved playing and hope you hold more competitions.
Don't worry about anything for me though - either share it with my Brat Pack pals or give something to a local shelter.
I honestly don't need anything - apart from a boat, a kitty and a cruise ticket.....

Hi Aunt Jan,
Mama doesn't know yet. My foster sister Katie is sick and mama is stressed about growing vet bills. She spends A LOT of time at something called work to be able to afford my special food and now to pay for Katies ultrasound and a consult with a special heart vet.

Mama keeps saying that I have until January for someone else to adopt me before she signs the papers.

Is January soon?

WooHoo, Aunt Jan!

You did a pawsome job ~ I have no idea how you could pick just one. Glad it was you and not me.

Congratulations to all the winners! Every letter was so great!

Thanks for holding the contest, Brats!!

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley
