Peeping Tom (or whatever his name is)

Tucker here. So the other night we were all just hanging around in the back yard, it was nice and cold, we had the game on the tv and a fire in the pit.By the way, I'm a big fan of the fire outside - you doggies should all make your peeps buy you one. Bear liked it too, he's beside me but you can barely see him cuz he blends in with the night.Dot kept staring up behind us, but nobody could tell what she was looking at...All of a sudden she leapt into action - she was like crazy fast and furious!!!She yelled for backup so I jumped up to help and we both used our Super-Hero-Laser-Beam-Death-Rays to track and maim the intruder....We were the winners and the intruder took off like a shot. Ok, not really like a shot. He actually just hung out in the tree and stared at us for about an hour no matter what we did. What really creeps us out is just how long was he up there spying on us before Dot spotted him?!? Something has to be done. This is war.

Way to go Dot!!! You are a wonderful watch dog, keeping your pack and family safe!!

Outdoor fire? We have a spot in our house for one of those, but the humans rarely use it since we get too hot. Maybe they need an outside one like yours cuz then we can stay nice and cool, while they stay warm!!

Blimey, never seen one of them before. Nothing like that on this side of the Atlantic. Good job too, because it looks super creepy. Well done for seeing it off, O Protectors of the Hearth.

What is that thing? Is it edible? We don't have anything like that here, I don't think. It looks a bit like one of those rats my granny refuses to give to me and uses to feed the snake.

I had one of those visit my back porch a while back. Thought it was a big rat in the dark. Looks vicious, but pretty harmless. He was after the cat food I was leaving out. A few days later he brought a friend. I stopped putting out food for a while. Didn't want the possums to start fighting with any cats. Haven't seen the possums since.

Good eyes, Dot!

Way to go protecting your yard and pawents. We see those things on the road, usually dead after being hit by a car! Very gross dead or alive.

The Mom ran over one in the car once. She was upset. I don't know why!

Oh that pervert! We see those around our yard (once a dead one!). I'll have to be more careful and make sure he isn't peeping at me when I'm not wearing my collar.

Great eyes Dot! We just followed you over from a link on Maddox's page, pleased to make your acquaintance. We read one of your earlier posts about Tucker's hip dysplasia. I don't know if it'll be any help or not, but Dave of the AO4 recently found out he had knee problems and he's now getting a supplement to help with the joint. (I think it was fish oil capsule in his food, but I'm not positive, you might check it out & see if it's something that may help Tucker.
We'd love to add you to our list of friends, please let us know if that's OK. & feel free to add us if you like.
Manykisses,

Woah! I've never seen a possum up close, not even at my kennel, which is named for one. They are horrible, ugly things. Ick! I would have been in there with you and Dot for sure. Dot is mighty impressive!

Wow, my sister saw a possum once. She tried to jump through the sliding glass door to get him. Luckily she doesn't jump with much force.

I definitely want an outside fire - but we live in town so that might not go over well. LOVE the possum shots - very cool.
