Six Months

It's hard to believe that today marks six months since Dakota crossed the Bridge. We think about him everyday and miss him as much now as that sad day in March. Just a few pics...

We love you and miss you so, so much.

We so remember Dakota. When we first joined DWB he had just died and we didn't know what to say. He looked such a beautiful dog and those pictures are just gorgeous.

It's nearly a year since Princey died and mistress wants to post something about him because she misses him so much. She cries every time she thinks about him. She tries not to think about him so she doesn't cry. We so know where you are coming from.

You have lots of pals on here. I hope we help a little bit. It's a big gap in your life though. Our sympathies.

I love the 3-way tug of war. I know you miss your boy terribly and his death was so sudden and quick. He was a happy dog and well loved. He had a good life with you and the rest of the pack. I really think he sent Bear to heal your hearts.

Oh, Dakota was so beautiful & handsome...there are never the right words to say..know that if I was near, I'd give you all the hugs & kisses you'd need till the water in your eyes went away. Its hard losing a sibling....I miss my brother Dublin every second of the day..my people do to..its going to be 6 months for him in 6 days as well. I bet they are playing right now at the bridge...maybe bitey-face craziness..that was one of Dublin's favorites...& Dublin & I have a brother named Dakota too! He lives in San Diego as well....If you ever want to chat..my email is randithelabnewf@hotmail.com I'm sure my mom would love to share any memories of Dakota you have. They are such blessings & so sadly missed.
Love & Licks,
Randi

We sure understand how much you miss Tucker! Shula went to the bridge in November 2005, and mom still misses her as much today, as she did the day she died. It does get easier to deal with as time passes, but he will always be in your heart.

he may not be physically be there with you, but i'm sure he's always present, in spirit, looking after you and all the brats.
he must be really grateful to have been loved by you, and tat he had you to love.

Time sure flies, doesn't it. It's strange, because we always remember them as if they were around just yesterday. He was a beautiful dog and the world is less complete after his loss.

Sniff. That's a beautiful tribute for a deserving dog. He was a lucky guy and we were all lucky to have known him, up close or admiration from afar.

What beautiful pictures of Dakota. We didn't get the chance to know Dakota, but we wish we did. We know you think of him every day like we think of Chloe. Hugs to your momma.

Unfortunately we never met Dakota, but we can tell that he was loved and much as he gave love.

He brought joy to so many, and is now welcoming the little ones up at Rainbow Bridge.

Such a beawootiful tribute to a Beawootiful boy. Starr went over the bridge in March 2006 & Ice followed her just 3 weeks later, mommy says he died of a broken heart after his Starr left him. She was almost 17 & he was 16. Our mom wanted us to tell all of you that though you'll never stop missing him, the pain does ease and the wonderful memories start taking over.
Our favorite pic is the last one, he just looks SO happy!
