Retraction!!

I don't know how many of you remember THIS, but I'm here to demand a retraction!!! Mom should have came here and told you all herself but nooooooo. No mention of it at all. Ever since she bought me those pads I've used them - from day ONE. Sure, sometimes I miss and sometimes I can't get to the kitchen in time but all in all I'm shooting at 90%. It doesn't count against my average if I'm at the back door and nobody opens it in time.
To help my aim I graduated to some new ones - here I am modeling with them. These are people pads, not the wimpy dog ones. I know I don't look happy here, but these are like 1 foot bigger each way so I'll be good to go. The biped is happy cuz they hold more of my Husky Love which means she has to mop less. I drink about 2-3 gallons of water a day (cuz of my Cushings they said) so that's a LOT of Husky Love - Mom wants me to repeat that part. A LOT. A dog's gotta go somewhere.

So anyway, that's what is going on in my life. I'm having a leaking problem too, not that you want to know that but there it is. Sometimes I don't feel it coming out when I'm laying down. Oh, and the other day when I was just standing there. Mom's so lucky she gets to take care of me, I should get something special. Like steak.

-Thrawn
PS from Maryann - I think we're going to try something from Dr. Bill next week to control the leaking problem. I looked into some of the herbal stuff but I'm worried about trying anything on my own with all his million other meds. If anyone is in the same boat and uses pads, these are SO much better. Sams & Costco carry them - 120 for $24. At several a day it adds up FAST. Friday night and I'm talking about tinkle pads and finding Tucker Disco clothes. Where has my life gone?! ;)

Greetings from a fellow dog mom..(muzzer, in my case) who also has no life outside of work and dog (note SINGULAR dog) and admires you for even being able to find the computer, much less take the time to blog.

big hugs from Gussie's muzzer

Maybe that was Charlot's problem the other day when he peed under the dining room table. Peed? More like he oceaned! I wonder if I'm going to do the same some day. hmmmm. It would certainly be convenient to not have to go outside. Especially when it's raining. Thrawn, You are brilliant!

We bought some washable pads online when we had a foster who had to go A LOT. They were fabulous for about a month, then they lost their water proofness. They were still obsorbant and reusable, though.

Jeez. Leave a little present and that's the thanks you get! And it's really nice of us to take up every bit of their free time so they don't get bored, huh?

Aw, poor Thrawn! With all of your boo boos what's a little tinkle? Humans exaggerate so much!

My friend Kayna is on a pill to help control leaking, it works really good for her.

Hi Thrawn - don't worry, its OK...my brother used to drink about 436 gallons of water a day cuz he had a kidney disease & although he never had a piddle on the floor in the house, we often wondered if his he was just all belly & bladder...& with hollow legs...he'd just pee & pee & pee outside for about 10 minutes straight..even a vet tech took him out once to get a urine sample & she said she had never seen a doggie pee some much at once in her life...can your ma blame you if you just wanna wiz inside? They do...geez.....

Love & Licks,
Randi
ps...will I meet you all at the pawty tonight?

Geez, how embarrasing for your mom to make you share that information. I have a leaking problem too, but mine if called spay incontinence and I take PPA for it. I don't know what they give boy dogs for that problem. Wish I could be more help :-(

Hey Thawn,
I guess accepting you have a leaking problem is a very brave thing. I think your Mom's a great lady to deal with all your special-ness. :)

Thrawnie, good luck at Dr. Bills. I hope you can get some good herbs that help your tinkler.

I'm sure you know already, but your Mom is a saint. She sure does take good care of you!

Thrawn, you are the husky man! You've sure got your humom trained GOOD! Our mom is sympathizing with her though, and agrees with the other comments, she must be a saint! Mom thinks the 4 of us keep her busy & broke, and we're all healthy other than the occasional emergency vet trip, usually caused by one or more of us being extra husky-like and practicing our HULA skills (like swallowing sick rats or dumping liquid potpourri on our heads) + regular checkups and shots of course. Anywoo, you probably ought to give her a break once in a while before she collapses, then who'll give you treats?
