Thanks, Steve & Kat!

It's Thrawn again. Maybe you saw Steve & Kat's free day last week, well we were inspired by them so decided to give it a try. Picture it...the humans leave this morning and we're all in our prisons. Bear & I are in the kitchen/mystery room and the other three are in the master bedroom. They use those stupid kid gates to hold us in which are a joke but it helps them think we're "trained".

4:30 comes and Mom sticks her key in the door...suddenly she hears barking voices RIGHT on the other side of the front door. I hear something like "what the :::bleep:::" and she slowly opens the door to see Dot & Tucker wagging like crazy. After that I saw her try to focus on me - I was stretched out on the living room rug relaxing with a nice illegal bone that's for supervised chew times only. I say TRY to focus because she looked veeery distracted by a special aroma filling the house. In the meantime Bear is hiding behind the gate that's still up in the mystery room - doofus never figured out I pushed the bottom to get out so he was trapped all day. (read on, that's not a good thing) Stubby the Hound ran back into the master bedroom when she heard the key and was acting all innocent.

I couldn't find anything cool to redecorate like the rug Steve & Kat had - we've already gone through everything and the house is pretty husky proofed now. Instead I had, umm, some bathroom issues in the kitchen. Well, ALL OVER the kitchen...then after I stepped in it and smeared it all over me and the floor there was no way I was staying in there with that stench. Please. So that's when I busted out but then it happened again in the living room plus I still had it on my feet so everywhere I went it went. Luckily I found out that the door to the giant bathroom was open and it's on the opposite side of the house - score! When I couldn't hold it anymore I just went in there (20 feet of rug space - it was like winning the lottery), then I could get into one of the other bedrooms from that bath so I had that WHOLE room too.

I thought Mom would be happy that I left her this special gift everywhere, but she didn't really look it. Plus our dinner was late because it took over an hour to clean up everything, mop, steam clean, etc. I still think it was worth it though and just for the record the others ate the illegal bones too.

That's all that is going on here. I wanted to post pictures but Mom said no. She's such a stick in the mud sometimes. A regular party POOPER. Get it?? Ha ha, I'm SO on today.

Going to harass her for treats then I'm hitting the sack. -Thrawn

Thrawn,
May I suggest you ask your mom for some "Dog Smog Remedy." It's a digestive solution that curtails emissions from both ends! (I actually bought some from her today!) Maybe that would help your pooping parties when she is not home...might smell much better, too! Acutally, on the back of the container it says humans can also use it!
I do feel sorry for Bear, you should have helped him escape! Bet it really stunk in the kitchen!

And I thought that I was good just tearing up her knitwear and wool when she leaves me for too long!

Thanks, Aunt Jan. Have you used that Dog Smog on Ben & Uncle Robbie yet? I heard they could use it.

Holy poopers! That sounds like some major mess. I was thinking poor Bear, although it kind of sounds like there was no place anyone could go to get away from the treasures you left your mom. So does your mom own her very own steam cleaner?

Sophie - it was HORRIBLE! I couldn't leave my bed in the kitchen or I'd be standing in it! Ick.

Love,
Bear

PS Yep, we have a steam cleaner. It's noisy. Funny thing is we only have like two rugs in the whole house and the rest is hard flooring. It's just that when one of us has an accident we prefer the rugs to do it on. :)

Hey Thawn,
What a great way to greet your Mom after a hard day of work! Whee...great job!! I had some bathroom issues last night too. Didn't pee into my pee tray and so I ended up with wet pawprints around. Dad totally blew up at Mom. Yeah, not at me...he says it's her fault for not putting me back in the playpen. whatever I say.

Goodness....your poor mama! You guys need to pay her your allowance for cleaning that mess up!

I LOVE to leave little presents for Mom!! While I'm creating them, I like to walk around dropping them in a very large circle right in the middle of the living room.

She even bought me my own Spot Bot.

Thrawn, we are so thoughtful!

I hope your tummy is feeling better now. I know that you would not do that to your mom on purpose! Ahemmmm

Wow. You were a busy dog! My Dad doesn't feel good and is going to the doctor today. I hope he doesn't start doing that all over the house. I'm pretty sure my Mom wouldn't be as calm as your's if Dad did that. there would be lots more beeps.

Wow, Thrawn. That's pretty good. We left a pile of poop in the closet when we got out (not saying who did it) and peed on Mom and Dad's bed (not saying who did that either), but I think you did better.

Thrawn,
That was mean of you to leave poor Bear behind. That's a lot of poo. What were you doing, storing it up for days?

Whoa Thrawn! That was GREAT! You get a gold star for that one! Pictures really would have been nice. Maybe next time you can hijack her camera. All you have to do is push a button.

Sounds like you had a poopy day. :P Although you said it was fun to escape I bet having all that poop on your feet wasn't too fun. Since you're a working breed maybe you need to learn how to use the mop or the steamer....then when you go wild and have bathroom issues your Mom doesn't have to do all the cleaning. Besides...isn't your Mom still healing from the "incident"?

You are way cute Thrawn but all we can say is that it is a good thing your Mom loves you to pieces.

I bet Thrawn started it, since Huskies are known to be such escape artists!
