Howdy

Hiya pals! It's Bear.

Sorry we haven't blogged much this week. Mom's been busy and we didn't know the new laptop password. Dot was making fun of me and saying I needed braces on my teeth. What do you think?? It seems like all the model dogs have straight even teeth and one day I'm hoping to find a girl who likes me. The "BARK" magazine came today and it kinda made me self conscious.

Lots of pups and their parents have written and asked about my Heartworm treatment. Mom says I'm going to Dr. Bill on Wednesday and I have to spend the night. :( I'm a little worried and I think Mom is reeeeeally worried. I was doing zoomies all over the house earlier and she was sad that I'd have to stop playing during my treatment. Just when I was feeling comfy enough to go on terror runs!! It's just not fair. Plus I really like to sleep in the big bed now and I'm not supposed to jump. How am I gonna get up there??? I wonder if she'll put the mattress on the floor so I can still sleep with her? Surely she doesn't plan on making me sleep alone I hope, especially since I'll be sick. Have any of you doggies had this treatment? How were you during it?? I wish it wasn't so long!

I'll stop complaining, sorry. I think Tuckers making me paranoid like him. I guess that's what happens when you hang out together so much. I really love Tucker even though he yells at me sometimes.

Going to get in bed so I get the pillows before anyone else - Big Bear

Bear,
You have dog-bear-beautiful teeth, silly dog, you don't need braces!
You are already soo handsome...I know your mom, she'll put the bed on the flood so she can sleep near you and take care of you when you are sick...it will be okay.
I am so glad you love Tucker Doodle, looks like he loves you, too! Hey, tell your mom I want a big pic of you in your crown to give your doggie-God-parents!!! You looked so fine in that crown! Love ya bunches!!!

Hey Bear,
Your teethies are just fine...I like your smile just as it is. My teethies are a little crooked too.

I'll think lots of good puppy thoughts while you are at Dr. Bill's.

Bear--your teeth give you character. Just look at mine!

I hope your heartworm treatment goes well, poor guy. When I hurt my back my ma ape hauled the mattress onto the floor to sleep with me so I wouldn't try to get into the bed.

Keep us updated on your heart's progress.

wally.

ps. speaking of hearts-- please say hiiiiii samantha! for me. but say it all sexy.

Hi Bear, tell Dot a little imperfection gives you character. Are all her spots perfectly alligned? I doubt it. Jasper went through heartworm treatment here. He was sad when the rest of us went for walks without him. He coughed a lot, but he is a senior who had Class III heartworm, which is about as bad as it gets. You will heal more quickly, but it will be a tough month. Your family is great to take care of you through this tough time. Good luck and make sure you get lots of play and walks in your last weekend of freedom.

Bear, I had to have heartworm treatment and Mom was worried too. She kept me in my crate most of the time to keep me quiet and to keep Roxie and Sammy from playing with me. That part was bad but I got lots of one on one quiet time with Mom. Mom said she had to keep me in my crate for my own good. I didn't like it but it worked because here I am and I'm all healthy and no more nasty heartworms.

I think your teeth are just fine! Don't listen to Dot!
I've never had heartworm, but lots of dogs go through it so I'm sure you;ll be fine. Tell your mom though that once you're able to play again to watch out. When a lab is ready to play after being calm for a month, there's a lot of stored up energy. When we go on 5 hour car rides, I have a lot of energy to use up. I couldn't imagine going an entire month! Good luck and keep us posted!

I think your teeth give you lots of character, you wouldn't be Bear without them!

Hopefully the treatment will be over soon, and you can run around and sleep where you want.

Dear Bear,

Your teeth look a lot like mine except mine are smaller than yours:) They add character to you and only you have those teeth so I wouldn't change a thing:) They distinguish you from all of us!

You will have to follow your mom and the doctor's orders dear Bear:) We need you well!

BIG hugs from Billy Boo:)
