Sigh.

Dot here. I'm blue. Well, I'm actually black & white but you know what I mean. Samantha and I have been talking about dressing up for some glamour shots for our sweeties. (you know who you are) Mom gets lots of wholesale catalogs in for dog stuff and we always browse them. Anyway, this really cute one came in on Friday and we were ready to order!

Sam isn't a girly girl but she really wanted to touch her feminine size with this little number. Springy and carefree, just the right attitude she wanted.

I had picked this Pirates outfit cause I wanted to show my wild side, that I'm not a goody-goody and could roll with the tough dogs. (plus I dig Pirates)

I was also going to order this one so I could show Sher-uh, I mean, that certain someone that I could be a Pirate OR a Princess.

So Mom gets the measuring tape out to see if we neeed XXL or just XL. (we're not fooling ourselves thinking we'd need something smaller) Come to find out the XXL wouldn't fit over our hips much less around our busty chests. What's up with this??? Why are they leaving out the curvy girls? Even if I starved myself I'd NEVER look like one of these little dainty chicks but does that mean we don't deserve to dress beautiful??? Mom said maybe there was a store for more full-figured dogs but I just don't know. I can't stand even looking in these catalogs anymore and knowing these models are probably turning their noses up and laughing at plus-sized gals like Sam and I. It's just not fair. We wish Mom knew how to work that machine she has that makes fabric go together, then she could just make us some outfits.

Feeling bloated - Dot (& an equally bloated feeling Sam)

Dot that is awful. My mom says she also can't find anything to fit me because I have such a big manly chest (which you don't have of course being beautiful females). Maybe you should talk your mom into talking to Butchy and snickers mom and seeing if she could make you something.

Oh you poor girls. My girl goes on rants all the time about how the world today encourages an unhealthy outlook on the female body and on and on. Evidently it's leaked into the doggie world too. Shameful. Don't give in - stay curvy! :-)

I agree - Butchy and Snicker's mom could made you something...?!

How sad :( You gals don't need clothes to be beautiful. You are beautiful just as you are!

Lots of Licks, Ruby

PS: be like me and just get a fancy collar???

From one fluffy girl to two others - there is just more of you two to love and who needs frilly clothes for that (okay, me without clothes is scary, but you do okay with the natural look).

Eh, clothes are overrated. I like being naked best. Well, kind of naked, except for my fur I guess.

You know those model dogs only eat, like, 2 bites of their low-carb kibble every day, so don't feel bad. You girls are bootiful :)

Sam--I think you look perfect in your BURPDAY SUIT with your lovely long ears seductively framing your face--it really highlights your lovely droopy eyes. I could go on but the drool pool on the keyboard is making it too slick to type.

Dot - I think you're just right. I like my Girl with a little meat on her. And I can't find any fun clothes to fit me either.

My Mom has one of those sewing things too and all she makes is pillows b/c you just have to sew in a straight line. She needs some lessens. I want a biker jacket.

Clothes would not fit me either, but who needs clothes when you have such stunningly gorgeous fur?

I agree that thos models probably are on a strict diet and don't get any of the yummy treats us "normal" sized girls get! I'm sure someone out there makes clothes for girls that get yummy treats.

Hey Dot & Sam,
I think those models in the catologues doesn't represent the REAL doggie size girls we have out here. Seriously, even I can't fit into those clothes cos my body's too long and I'm too chesty too. :(
I also agree with the rest, I think Butchy & Snickers' Mom can custom-make some nicer stuffs for you two!!
