It's me, Samantha. I've been really sad since yesterday when I heard that my boyfriend Wally had crossed the bridge. I've been sleeping a lot (well, more than normal) and I keep asking WHY he had to leave. Mom said she asks that question a lot too, it seems that nobody has a good answer.
I've decided that the reason Wally had to leave us here at DWB was to take care of all of our pals that were already at the Bridge. I remember how upset we all were after Dakota, Thrawn and Durango crossed the Bridge and how Wally was there for us and Mom the entire time. He was like a ray of sunshine on our cloudy day. Now every time we see a rainbow we'll know it's Wally cheering somedog up on their cloudy day.
I guess that means there will be a rainbow somewhere in the world every single minute of every day because if there's one thing my Wally-Tamale had, it was a perfectly wonderful heart.
Love you more than bully sticks,
Samantha

Thanks, Sam. We miss our brother a lot, too. Our house is very empty without the little guy. I can't help but think you had that freak snowstorm at the same time we had snow to remind us of the connections between us. We're all in this together. On the other side of all this sadness are some fantastic memories of Wally, Dakota, Thrawn, and Durango. And I'm sure they're all together, complaining about their bratty siblings. :)

Also, the yellow snow might be Wally, too. The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. :)

Dear Sam:
I know how you feel about Wally Tamale. I miss my sweet Miss Snickers every day. I love the idea of the rainbow for Wally. Can you eat rainbows? Because you know Wally and his foodables.

We have lost far too many this year, and Wally was a favorite. I'll miss that sweet boy...
I think that you have a good thought there.
Kat
We loved him dearly.
That was such a wonderful tribute! We have been saddened too by such a big loss.
