Hiking...not with us.

OK, well, as if our blog wasn't already so far behind you've forgotten our names now our Mom has decided to start another project.  She has joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training to help raise money for Cancer research.

What does this mean to us??  It means that she's going to be at the gym a lot more because this May she will be hiking the Big Bend National Park with the Team.  You guys know our Mom, she's not exactly a premier athlete so it's going to take some getting used to.  We're just hoping she doesn't break something.  I bet we hear lots of moaning and whining about aches and pain.

Since it's for a good cause we're going to be supportive even though it's going to cut into our quality time.  If you want to sponsor Mom for the hike you can check out her fundraising page here:

Donations benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and are tax deductible.  (whatever that means)

If you want to offer up your human to spend quality time with us since we'll be neglected let us know.  We'll send you our address and you can put them on a plane, train or bus to us.

PS  Mom is saying we won't be neglected and that we can practice hiking with her, but we aren't holding our breath.

I think Wally's on to something would actually help in the training if she needed to pull all 6 of you in a little get to see the great outdoors without all the work!

My Mom said to post that she is very proud of your Mom for doing this and that she is feeling inspired (uh, sure she does).

Anyhowl...good luck Brat Mom!!!! Lots of Licks, Ruby
