Apologies

Hi Friends

We're sorry we haven't posted in over a week, things have been upside down at our house and our secretary isn't too reliable lately.

First some unfinished business....

The drawing winner for the Dogtown DVD is Shannon Y!  Congrats!  We're going to upload the drawing videos tonight.

We're still waiting on a couple boxes of goodies to send everything out, as soon as we get them we're going to have our slacking secretary get things packed up and shipped!  (Pawty favors, too)  We can blame Amazon too because when the box arrived the book corners were all beat up so they are replacing.  Sigh...humans can't do anything right sometimes.

Mom's been in a funk, last week marked the 2nd anniversary of Dakota leaving us and she hasn't felt like helping us blog.  We can understand but hopefully she'll be better about it now.

We miss you big guy...

Our house is under construction right now and it's really stinking because we have to stay locked in the bedroom prison WITH THE DOORS CLOSED during the day while the painter is there.  It bites.  She says it's because sometimes I'm all Cujo with strangers.  Whatever.   -Bear

woof...we missed ya. We kept blaming bloggie for not showing us posts, and then we would visit the old fashioned way, and there weren't any posts.

We sympathize with the house remodeling...that starts here next week. Muzzer and dad are takin us to St. Loulis for easter so they builders can get a running start.

We are suppose to be Cujo with strangers. That is our life calling and they are not suppose to be in our house.

Dakota looks like he was a really nice boy. My brother I never knew (Grits) was a Cujo boy. I really wish I woulda knowed him 'cuz I woulda taught him being Cujo doesn't get you anywhere or anytreats. Oh well, to each his own.
Mom would like me to add that when your painter gets done he can come over and paint our house.
Take care Gang and keep a pawsitive attitude!

Woofs and painted slobbers!

Always tough on the anniversaries of the loss of our furry friends, but we try to think of the things that make us smile about them. Not always easy, but does work.

Hey Y'all,
We know how depressing those departure anniversaries can be. Assembly a pile of photos of the dogs that have gone to The Bridge, pick ones that bring back happy and fun memories. When the anniversary comes around take out the happy picture s and look through them and smile. Y'all will still miss that doggie but you should have a smile along with a tear or two. Don't worry Bear, Shiloh is way more like Cujo with strangers than you are. tell mom to snap out of her funk; she has y'all to tend to.

2 years already? :( It was 6 for my girl Possum on the 20th. I miss her and her sister Emma terribly this many years later. Hugs to you missing sweet Dakota.

We miss ya, too, Dakota. And we understand if your mom needs some time. Big hearts take more time to heal but they also have more love in 'em.
