Almost Wordless Wednesday

We're donating our Almost Wordless Wednesday post to honor one of the Vicktory Dogs who passed last week. We are saddened but find peace that she was able to spend the last year of her life in happiness at Best Friends.

I am so lucky to have found a good home with my mommy...but all furries aren't that lucky. Poor Bonita's story is so sad, until she found the happiness and love she deserved. She will forever be a symbol of hope.

Mom's eyes are leaking. I bet Bonita and I could have been great friends.

There are no bad dogs; only bad owners. All dogs go to heaven. We will howl to DOG tonight to watch over Bonita's soul. Her journey to The Rainbow Bridge was made too early in her life.

It's very good that Bonita got to live at Best Friends. She had a hard life. :(

I'm so glad that Bonita was able to live at Best Friends and know at least a year of the life of a dog. Sigh.

ps. My ma ape almost brought me home a pit today!

Bear, dude. I think you SHOULD take Roscoe. I think the shelter director has it in her head that WE should take him! NOOOOOO!

My ma ape wants to bring home Beast. She's a sucker for a dog with a big head. And then she wants to walk us--Bow Legs and No Legs. NOT FUNNY!
