Durango

A year ago today we lost our little Durango, while he was only with us a few days he made a big impact. We hope he's running like a crazy dog with Thrawn, Dakota and all of our other friends at the Bridge. We just wish we had more time with him.

We were just thinking about Durango this weekend. Sammy had to get Lepto and Parvo shots. Mom remembered what poor Durango went through.

We can't believe it has been a year. He and his cuteness are at the bridge and must make everyone smile who comes by. We only wish he had been blessed with more time here to make all of us smile too.

Oh how sad! To lose him at so young an age has to be something you never quite get over. He was a beautiful dog and my heart hurts for you.

We were thinking of Durango over the weekend - my newphew Colby was really sick, and they were testing him for this horrible thing. Thank doG, he is fine and it's just a stomach problem.
And Thank doG for the time Durango had with you!

Love,

Hope you are having fun North of the Bridge with our own members of The Herd. We know you are in good paws there.

We remember Durango, but we didn't realize it has been a whole year. So many have passed during this year, so we know he is in good company and among friends.

Seeing that sweet little face again just breaks my heart and I know it can't be easy for you. I know how hard you tried to save him. I have no doubt that Dakota and Thrawn taught him all sorts of naughty tricks when they met him up in Heaven.

Mya Boo Boo here...I wasn't blogging this time last year. So I never knew your little guy. But one of my puppies crossed to the bridge from the same thing. It was furry sad for us all, so I know the pain woo has felt. I bet your little Durango and my little Chocolate Drop are playing right now!

Just looking at his beautiful face makes my mom smile so he is still spreading joy down here with us. We send beagle hugs. We never forget those we have lost either and like to celebrate having known them.

Durango was such a cutie and we are so happy that he was able to experience love before his short time was up.

What a handsome boy. It must have been devastating to y'all to lose him. We know how you feel because we are coming up on the 1 year anniversary of losing Gordon, but unlike Durango, Gordon had lived a long life. We hope that Gordon and Durango are frolicing through the field together. It's good to have long and fond memories of a pup who's life was so short. All of our thoughts are with you.

We weren't blogging this time last year either, so we didn't know Durango. But as River says, we remember and honour those who were with us, whether it be for a short time or long. We're so glad that he had time with you all - he went to the Bridge having known great love.
