We have some news.

It's Bear....we're MOVING!

Lots of stuff has been going on lately and we couldn't figure out why...then Mom told us tonight that she bought us a new house!! It has grass in the backyard and everything, we just have dirt here. She even said there were windows low enough for us to look out of and smear our goober all over. Can life get any better?

Mom's grumpy because she called the stupid people who have our house insurance now to get a quote on the new digs. (She said to give a shout out to Fidelity Insurance who we have paid for the last 4 years and asked for very little in return...) Well guess what? They won't insure us now because we have "dangerous dogs" in our pack. Yep, we couldn't believe it either. Wanna know who?

Don't worry, your eyes aren't messed up, that's Tucker-Doodle and Dot-Spot...apparently Fidelity Insurance has decided that a dog with any Dalmatian or Shepherd mix are on their banned list and they won't insure the house. (along with a long list of other breeds) So BOO to you, Fidelity.

Anyhooo...we still have a few weeks before we move so I guess we won't know what it looks like till then. Cross your paws we like it.

xoxo -Bear
PS I hear through the grapevine we're getting Halloween costumes this weekend, feel sorry for us all!!!

WHAT? Dalmations? And German Shepards? WHAT? Tucker? Dot? WHAT? lol That's so messed up!!!
Moving is stressful, but if you get a cool house like I just did when we moved you'll be okay once your Mom acting so stressed out. I love my grass back yard (I had dirt before, too) and we have all sorts of windows to look out now!
I still don't see how Tucker and Dot can be dangerous! It's the little ones you have to be careful of! I would think Milly would be the one to watch out for in your house! Sheesh!!!

Dear Tucker Doodle and Dot Spot. If you need character references, we are able to help out. Now, that Millie dog, well....that might be a different matter.

pee esss....we hope you love your new house.

eya Guys,
Congratulations on moving and Fidelity Insurance is full of the stuff that comes out of our butts. If we had Fidelity we'd drop 'em like a hot potato, but we don't so we can't. We're sure that some other company will take your business. Our paddock used to have lots of grass but we took care of that problem; now we have lots of dirt where the grass used to be. Good luck. Keep us informed.

Congratulations on the new house!!

Where do you find Halloween costumes for large breed dogs? Amici doesn't fit in any of the store ones. I love the "torture" (AKA Halloween costumes) season.

OMD...those people are crazy!!! I mean Millie is more scawie than Tucker-doodle...hee hee hee!

Congrats...we're so happy for you pups! Are you still going to be close to your granny?

Lots of Licks, Ruby

Fidelity won't insure homes that have specific breeds of dogs in residence?! What kind of bad joke is that!

That's taking speciesism to a whole new level of

(You should insist they return your insurance money prorated to when Tucker and Dot where added to the banned list - you didn't have any claims, but it sounds like they would have been denied anyway...)

New motto: Fidelity bans dogs; ban Fidelity.

And OH -

Congratulations on the grass!

Stupid Fidelity. We like our insurance company because they don't ask you what breed dog you have only if your dog has bitten someone. It's for military people only though. :(

I had guessed Sam for being dangerously cute.

Well, congrats on the new home it sounds great and I can't wait to see it!

Hi, friends!
Congratulations on your new house!
I am sure you all will be happy there!
I hope everything goes well with the insurance!
Kisses and hugs

I guess we will not want to have insurance with those people. That stupid list seems to get bigger every year. Maybe they should have a dangerous people list. There are quite a few people who could go on it.
Costumes, we aren't sure about them.
Do you each have a room in the new house?

Wow, that's not fair! I didn't know an insurance company could ban a house because of dog that has not yet caused any problems. Good to know who not to call for quotes.

Mom and I think Fidelity is awful! How dare they not insure you guys! You aren't dangerous!!!

Ferndoggle said...

Bear, this is total BS. Let these stupid insurance dudes meet my Dot Spot and they would know...the only danger is them totally falling in love with her! Now that Tucker is a different story...Penny has the hots for him and I NEVER trust her judgement. So you're on your own with him.

Can't wait to see the new digs. I'll bet it rocks.

Fidelity Insurance I snarl at your stupidity! DEED NOT BREED!!!
I hope all the non banned dogs spend the weekend chewing up their properties good and they have a nice few hundred million dollars worth of claims waiting for them Monday morning!

Ooohh the new house sounds great! Be sure to give your Mom lots of extra love and snuggles in the coming weeks, its apparently stressful for the two leggeds moving house!

Halloween Costumes?? Poor you! I sympathise. Luckily for me they don't sell them here so I'm safe!

have a great weekend,

Ben xxxx

Dumb insurance company!

POOP to Fidelity Insurance. That is so ridiculous. Just forget about them and enjoy your new house and yard.

Dog, that's a lot of news!

Well, first, congratulations on the new home with windows and grass and all... that's very exciting. Now as for the insurance... that is pretty bad. Would the insurance company reconsider if, say, they passed their Canine Good Citizen test? I know in New Dork City some rental buildings and coops, passing the CGC helps because it's proof that the dog can behave. Or, in my case, Momma says I was very good for about 10 minutes straight... hehe

Well, good luck on the house insurance.

Love ya lots,

Hey Bear...THATS THE DUMBEST THING WE'VE EVER HEARD! What ever happened to Dalmations being HEROS & riding on fire trucks? What happened to all the HERO shepards that are police dogs & rescue dogs...I think everydog should go & pee on Fidelity right now..

Stupid people..

I hope your ma works out all the details...I know the process of moving sucks, but you are getting some great digs! Cant wait to see the slobbered windows!

love & licks,

Fidelity sucks. Now that that has been said, we're wondering how your mom has time for costumes in the midst of a big move??? Our mom isn't moving and she hasn't mentioned a word about costumes. Not that we're complaining, of course.

Balboa & Mommy said...

What a stupid insurance company, how could they think that you Tucker-Doodle and Dot Spot are dangerous.

Frenchie Snorts

The Girl said...

Dumb Fidelity! They need to ban irresponsible people from coverage, that'd make a huge difference.

Good luck with the move. Windows are the best! I don't mind grass, it's good to eat.

Sure hope The Girl doesn't get any funny ideas about Halloween costumes!

Brown dog kisses,

Fidelity Insurance sucks and if we have them in Canada, I will tell everyone the same. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Your mom should just tell them your poodles. But then still not get her insurance from them because FIDELITY INSURANCE SUCKS!
