Update on Walter aka Oliver Twist

Finally we're posting Oliver's update...remember him?
We were pretty excited to get a letter in the mail from his Mom in California and a picture!!! Here he is with a couple of foster dogs he's letting live with him until they get adopted. Check out that healthy fur and skin!!

Here's the letter...
"Thought you'd like an update on Oliver. He had the heartworm treatment. Another six weeks before more x-rays and blood tests. Neutered last week, sailed through. Enclosed is a photo, he just had a shower. He rolls in the orchard and gets covered in debris. Now off of total rest so he can run fre, walks when he recovers from neuter surgery. He's in the house with other rescues, sleeps in my bedroom. (My 13 year old OES had to be PTS last week, I rescued and flew him over from England)

Oliver (Twist) is now a happy 100 pounds. His initial aggression is gone, we did train this problem away. He now goes in the car to the previous house and on errands. He also goes to "work" with me where I'm renovating a house to sell. He is a BEAR!"

We're so happy that he's doing well and is living a good life, he deserves it!

PS Mom's laptop is broken so if we're slow in answering mail at night that's why. :(

Woof! I'm glad I passed by and can bark here. It's sooo rare for em to do that.

Oliver's story is such a warm story and I'm glad it has a happy ending. Now I can go back to sleep.

Ohmydog this is the most awesome! He looks like a completely different dog. I'm not surprised his aggression stuff cleared up once he was in a stable environment that could take the time to train him. Yay! Hey look--you saved a life!

You and your family really helped get him to where he is today. That must put a smile on your face. :)
