AGAIN?!?

It's Bear. I'm disgruntled.

Mom came home today full of weird smells, next thing we knew the kitchen was being blocked off and somedog was in there. We were all WHAT?!! And then we were all WHY!?! Mom had to sit us down to tell us that today was "D Day" for him at the shelter and he didn't have anywhere else to go. SO we have a new foster brother but for only a couple weeks when a long-term foster can take him in. I guess we can share our food till then. Not like we have a choice.

I guess you'll all want to meet him...everyone loves the new dog. While all us old dogs are just forgotten and neglected. Sniff. Here's his prison picture...I'm sure he'll be plastered all over our blog soon and stealing all the attention. His name is Rulon. Yea, I know....LAME-O. The worst thing....he's a PUPPY. Do you know what a PAIN a puppy is? That's the face of a trouble maker, mark my words.

Puppies suck! Super Spoiled gets all the car rides and is honing in on our turf. Mom says she's not a foster failure, but we know better. Stop it while you can!

I so so so understand what you mean Bear.. I DO NOT like puppies.. they are conniving, evil and manipulative cos they think they can get away with anything with their innocent looks! *sigh* Poor us 'old' dogs..

Yeah puppies are awful awful awful. He's cute as far as puppies go. You can probably survive a couple weeks but if you can't, head on down to my house. We would love to have you.

Heya Bear,
We think that you need to change your name to Bear It. So what's one more mouth to feed or head to pat. Just look at that grateful face. You can mold him into a clone of yourself. MAYBE he actually will be "just" a foster dog, HOWEVER, don't bet your dinner bowl on it. Homer J. came here as a foster dog and you know the rest. Chance was a foster dog that just never got adopted (Mom, they forgot to print your ad about Chance again..and again..and again.) Here's the question: Is the world a better place with Rulon living with y'all or Rulon not living at all? BINGO! So "GOOD ON THE BRAT PACK."

I'm sorry you have to share your turf with the new guy, but it's for a good cause so I'm sure you'll get used to him. Something tells me that your mom bringing home hard-luck cases is nothing new around your house. Just remember you are still THE BEAR of the house and no other dog can take that away from you.

Uh oh! We've heard this before with Millie. Look where she is. Oh, that's right, still at your house! Watch out!

Bear!

I must say, Rulon is certainly a very cute puppy, and I'm glad you're all lookin' after him for a while! But I know your pain, too. I mean, shouldn't all the human's attention go to their OWN dogs?

Better get used to it, guys. Dog moms are all alike. We're suckers for cute faces and sad eyes. You know you can't wait to teach Rulon how to be a good dog. Play nice with the puppy!

Bear, I would love to have a puppy to play with but my Momma says I'm already too much to handle. You're so lucky to have a puppy to play with.

Sigh. I guess the grass is always greener where we're not peeing.
