That runt.

Hi Everyone, it's me, Bear. I'm about sick of the attitude of somedog here, I'll give you a hint who...the only pup who weighs less than 50 pounds who lives here. Remember MY chair??? I always sit there with Mom to watch TV. Well, that little butthead has started to sit up there too and now Mom said we have to take turns. How stupid is that? I thought we were on the seniority program here, not some idiotic sharing plan. I'm pretty sure it was MY turn but nooooo, the "Princess" was sitting up there. You see that? MY chair. MY Mom's leg in jeans. Not hers. Mine.I stared at Mom so she'd get the point that she screwed up and it's my turn. Sam had my back.Nothing. I bet Wally's ape would have booted her out of the chair for me. Once I figured out nothing was going to change I decided to be a giant Brat and live up to my legend. I did everything I could think of, I pulled.I tried the whole roll-over-woe-is-me look....Still nada. I broke into full pain-in-the-butt mode. (her words, not mine) I prefer to think of myself as creative. She still didn't kick her off and LOOK! That Mom Recliner Stealer stuck her tongue out at me!!!This means war. -Bear as in Bearly-Paid-Attention-To or maybe Bearly-Loved

Bear,

We feel your pain. That silly Sparta is soaking up attention around here. But, ha ha. Mom has her scheduled for a vet visit on Thursday. We'll see if she likes that attention.

Who do those little guys think they are?

Bear,

We need to come up with a plan for getting rid of The Thing. You could try the plan I've been using on Oscar--HUMP IT. Hasn't made him go away, yet. But I'm having a good time.

Hi, Bear!
I am thinking that this is a war you will not win!
Maybe you can chose another nice chair!

Oh Bear...I'm so sorry...I'm sure your Mom and Millie didn't mean it. Millie can't be all that bad, right?

Hmmm.... have you tried the old "who's at the door" trick? Millie looks like she might fall for it.

Poor Bear!!! You certainly did not deserve that! Your human should have given you the attention you so dearly deserved!!

Next time, bite her toes.

Oh Bear..you have my full sympathy. That Millie dog looks a lot like Teka, and they are IMPOSSIBLE! Here are some tips from my years of almost abject failure.

1. Be first in the chair. Whoever suggested that is RIGHT. You may have to sneak out early from dinner, but this is important.

2. See if you can fit Mom in the middle. In some chairs (not all) in our house, it is possible to have Teka on one side and me on the ohter. If muzzer is a bit squashe and sitting on one hip...too bad.

3. Work hard on pitiful.

I feel your pain Bear. There is a new guy in my house and he has taken over EVERYTHING!!!!!! I hope you have better luck getting your places back than I am having.

Okay, Bear, I have some experience with this as Wilbur tries to hog Mom as well. What you have to do is jump on the chair and stand on your mom. Then step all over Millie. It works everytime. Wilbur always runs away.

Bear!

That's horrible! I feel the same way when we look after the neighbor's dog. She gets all the attention and cuddles, and I don't! It's sad, I tell ya... I get jealous very easily...

Though I must admit, these picture of you trying to get your humans attention made me laugh! Your big paws and cute face are grrrreat... Keep it up, it's bound to work sooner or later!

Bummer, Bear! You're just going to have to convince her that the chair OVER THERE is so much cozier! Hope this helps!

Love ya lots,

Bear my house isn't that far away and my mom loves you. Come for a visit and your mom will realize how much she misses you and get rid of that silly little thing that probably weighs less then our fat cat.

Battle of the chair huh? Good luck in winning it back!

What is up with that dog in the chair? Why didn't you just jump up and sit on both of them.

Lady Kaos said...

Just do what I do when Sasha is in my spot. I jump up on the chair. Point my butt at her as a warning and if she doesn't move, that's her own fault. I slowly set my butt down which gives her plenty of time to move. Don't sit down fast, because if you sit on her and she yelps, it makes the mom mad.
Good luck!

Hey guys--

Yup, the Oscar is a permanent fixture! My ma ape says we are now Jackman Ave size. She dreams of a day when we are Brat Pack size. Scary, eh!

Is the Brat Pack officially back up to 5? You said Millie "lives here"...not "visiting here".... Inquiring minds want to know...

Hi guys,

Mona here! Sorry we haven't been around in a while. I have kept the Mommy so busy writing posts for my blog that we have neglected a bunch of our friends. Please forgive us.

What kind of a dog is Millie. She kinda looks like a piebald dachsie.
She is very small compared to rest of you.

Lova ya all -- Mona

Maybe if you had tickled her toes your Mom would have got up and then you could have "dealt" with the little one. :) Hee Hee
