This is a little small for a swimming pool, dontcha think?? Millie is the only one of us that could swim in that. Now there's some kind of path leading to the pool...
We have to send out a great big thank you to the Forget Sit and Stay Gang....they made sure their pawrents helped the Irving Husky get into a foster home for Adopt a Husky of Dallas. If any of you pups out there want a new Husky sibling you should check them out. Mom met him outside the shelter and gave him some kisses, he's a total sweetie she said. Phew. We thought we were gonna have another foster brother for a minute there.
Dot and I have been doing some serious squirrel hunting lately. We put up all kinds of traps, I mean feeders in the yard to entice them in. She's pretty serious about it when she's on lookout...
Even though it's just now June it's like super insane hot here already so I like to make my post right inside the door...in the AC. I'm no dummy.
Mom said the door looks like a rustic cabin door because we're hellions and throw a fit if we're outside with the door shut. Whatever, she must have us confused with bad dogs.

That bucket is sure a strange looking swimming pool! Can you wrap it back up and exchange it for the slip-n-slide park? That looks like a whole lot more fun to us!

Oh no. Not my Bear. He is the sweetest, gentlest ever. Isn't he? Well, he is kind of the baby in a way. Or was. Maybe he's feeling a bit unseated. Poor Bear. I hope Millie is standing her ground and not being pushed around. I suspect she is an independent woman dog, like me.

We are sure glad you have AC. We have it on here in ME and we dont' get anywhere near as hot as you all do. :)

Um...maybe it is going to be a great big outdoor drinking bowl for when you guys get thirsty outside? That's what Me n Teka do with the wading pool, mostly.

That looks more like a drinking pail, if you ask me. If you need a pool dug in the yard, call me. I can make crater size holes in no time. They're all over our yard, but mama hasn't put a pool in any of them...
