A year ago today we lost our beloved Dakota and have missed him everyday since. We hope he is having the time of his life at the Bridge with Thrawn, Durango and all of our friends that have crossed before. We love you, buddy.
A year already? That was the first time I cried when reading your blog. A much beloved pack member he was and is and I have no doubt between him, Thrawn and Durango that there is all kinds of trouble in Heaven :) ((hugs to the brats and their hoomans today))
As I was sitting in mass this morning, Dakota crossed my mind and I couldn't stop thinking about this time last year. Thinking of you and the brats today....time may ease some of the pain but it never takes it all away :(
Thinking about you and Dakota today Maryann~Anniversaries can be so hard :( He's gotta be proud of everything you're doing for Walter and he, Thrawn and Durango are having a great time at the Rainbow Bridge!

Hi Maryann & the rest of the Pack...the end of March is a very difficult time for your family & mine...Dakota had made his way to the Bridge & then only 6 days later Dublin went to the Bridge too..I know they are playing & healthy & missing us all..but sometimes I'd give anything just to give him a loving nudge & kiss...Big brothers are the best & Dakota will live in our hearts forever....our thoughts are with you this emotional day.
I'm sure he watches over you now and is wagging his tail happily seeing that you are honoring his memory by helping other dogs in need like Cousin It and taking good care of his siblings. There could be no greater honor for a dog, I'm sure. He was a great dog and he left a wonderful legacy. thinking of you, Siobhan and Louka

A part of you always misses them forever. They say time helps - but only so much.

Dakota is missed but not forgotten. May every dog have the love he had during his time on Earth. May every dog have someone waiting to see them again.
Thinking of you today. We send loving thoughts your way.
