Tucker Update

Tues AM Update - Talked to Dr. Bill this morning, he did great overnight. He took him to potty around 10:30 last night and he was fine. Everything is normal and he hasn't been sick at all. I'm supposed to pick him up around 4 this afternoon. :)

Tucker is doing fine, he came through surgery great this morning. There were a lot of stones but they removed them all and sent them to the lab for analysis. It looks like Tucker will be going on a prescription diet to keep them from forming again. He is spending the night there in ICU which I was really worried about; Dr. Bill told me this afternoon that he would be staying the night with him so I feel better about it. He should be able to come home tomorrow and will be on activity restriction for 5-7 days. The stitches will dissolve and he should be good as new after that. Thank Dog and Uncle Sam for the tax refund. ;)

Thanks for all the well wishes and concern.
Maryann

PS He would probably want me to pass along that Dr. Bill said he had the stinkiest toots ever. I can confirm this after being stuck in the car with him all the way over there this morning.

Oh so glad Tucker made it through all right. That Dr. Bill sounds like a great vet. Tucker and Peanut can hang out together and stink up whatever house they are in.

I am glad that Tucker did okay. Now he just has to erm..get more rest when he gets home (although I dunno how he's going to be doing that with the rest of the pack around).

I'm so glad Tucker's doing well. What a dedicated vet! Mama wants to know if he's married ;).

Lots of hugs and thanks to Dr. Bill.
You should post a picture of him on your blog...really, you should post his and Angela's pic since they are a big part of the "family!" No worries if Dr. Bill is spending the night with Tucker-Doodle. Boy, are you lucky to have a vet that loves you so much.
Glad everything came out great! We will keep praying for Tucker-Doodle..

Hi Maryann - So glad Tucker-Doodle is doing OK...Does this mean he won't have stinky toots anymore? He's losing a very valuable weapon in the fight to defend foodables, stuffies & human terrority!

No comment on the toots. I'm sure they smelled like freakin' roses!

Good news Tucker! I'm glad you are okay.

Tell Dr. Bill and your mom to be quiet, you've been through surgery and Dr. Bill was poking around in your insides, that's why you have stinky toots!

Tucker! I'm so relieved to hear that your surgery went ok. I'm sorry you have to stay in the ICKYU. And I'm glad you've given the mean doctor and your mean ape a noseful. They deserve it for stealing your stones.

wally.

ps. Try to not make any more stones. But if you could possibly grow bully sticks that might be cool?

We are such bad friends! We haven't been to your blog in a couple of weeks (since Mom gave notice at her soon-to-be old job) and didn't know Tucker has surgery. Roxie has the same problem with stones and we are trying to disolve them with a special diet. If that doesn't work she has to have surgery and then the same special diet as Tucker. Glad he his better!
