Why our DWB Calendar photo will suck...

...and quite possibly our Christmas card too.

Personally we blame THESE guys... They're giving her some idealized Fantasyland-like view on how a multi-dog photo shoot should work. Personally, I think they must be tied together under those "props", surely they're not lying there like that on their own accord and why is no one blinking??? Even bigger than that, why are they all looking at the camera at the same time? Come on guys, you're giving the humans unrealistic expectations and ruining the fun for all of other packs around the globe. You've let the tease of drool inducing treats turn you to the dark side. Besides, the longer you hold out getting a good shot the more treats you get.

PS Sherman, Dot says she still loves you anyway.

PAINTSHOP PRO! That has to be the only answer, muzzer says. She can't even get two of us to be good at the same time.

Mommy is always trying to get us side-by-side for a picture, too, but we don't cooperate either. It's too much fun tormenting each other.

ha ah! That made me laugh. I've heard the expression 'herding cats' but I think it should now be replaced by 'group dog shot'.

My mum quite rudely just told me I would be looking in all sorts of directions too, and there's only one of me!

Are you kidding? I love your group shots! They're fantastic. Anyone can pose, but you guys? You guys are so naturally artistic it's terrific. I especially love the first and third photos -- the one's in which Bear is most prominently featured as the hunk he is.

There's nothing wrong with outright bribery!

Love the photos - very funny!

You are right, our Mom is amazed that the dogs of Jackman ave. always pose so wonderful together. There are only two of us and unless we are sleeping together it's almost impossible to get us to pose nicely together.

I think Shermie's mom gives them drugs..or maybe someone behind the camera is doing something they shouldn't do & Shermie & Penny & Lola just can't turn away....or maybe she tapes their eyes open..the possibilites are endless & you must need to figure it out..

Love & Licks,
Randi

ps..I love controlled chaos....thats what you pic should be called!

I think your photo will make a great Christmas card! You are all very handsome! Our parents want to add to our pack but we need a bigger house first. Keep on Barking~

LOL !
look at the one where Bear Thrawn & Tucker taking cover for each other - looking at all directions!

ps: love the glamor-shots thumbnails you have on the right!

HA! This post made our Mom spit out her coffee!! 3 is way easier than 5! Your photographer should cut herself some slack.

We love the last one...Tucker looks Dreamy and Dot is doing her own thing, as Sherman usually does! And Thrawn looks like you just told him a funny joke.

Two words...Liver. Brownies.

So cute! I think each picture is special in its own way. Even with a pack of two (one dog and one cat) it is hard. They don't have a good picture of the two of us together yet, and they've been trying for two years. Ha!

Maybe it's the Steelers jerseys giving them superdog powers. Keep trying you'll get it right. Did you see our new photo mom took of us...it's at the top of our blog. Practice makes perfect.

Ah, I KNOW WHAT I WANT NOW!!! 5 dogs + 5 letters in 'DoGGa' = 1 cool photo of each hound holding a letter spelling DoGGa :0) it would live on my blog forever!!! :)))

I think you guys are perfect! Just cuz the apes have nothing better to do than stand in a row and have their snaps taken, we have important stuff on our plates! Milling about! Begging for snacks! Being cute! Lay off apes!

wally.

ps. You all are perfect but Sam, you are the most perfect.

BOL!!! I think those Jackman dogs are just decoys and not really Lola, Penny and Sherman...they are stuffies of them. It's the ONLY way you could get that great a picture!!!

But you guys look so cute NO MATTER what you are doing in a picture!!!

Lots of Licks, Ruby

Those pictures are great. While I love penny I think there is something wrong with the three of them posing like that for pictures.

Well it must be a lot harder with all of you! PHEW! But we bet any pic you take will come out eventually. Maybe instead of a group shot you could do a collage?

Good luck!

oh my... i can't stop laughing at tucker in that second shot - HAAAA!

Lady Kaos said...

I agree! They're either tied down or ther'es some computer manipulation being done! There's no way a picture like that is possible! I REALLY hope my mom doesn't get any ideas after seeing that picture!!
