We only wish upon him what he deserves. (and his stupid-ass partners in crime) Like maybe having his fingernails removed with pliers. Oh, and then maybe sticking his naked fingertips in acid then smashing each one of them with a hammer. Over and over. His toes, too. We'd like to say more but this is a PG rated blog.
We looove the NFL, but if they don't take official action against this jackass we might have to stage a boycott. What a great role model for kids everywhere and what a WONDERFUL #)*#@ example to set for those kids about how to treat animals.
ETA - After stewing over this all night Mom wants to add that it's NOT enough to fine him a bazillion dollars or put him on probation for 20 years, blah blah blah. These kids that look up to him need to SEE the punishment. Let them see his ass rotting in jail and him not playing ball. Otherwise it's not going to hit home the ramifications of abusing an animal and it'll just show another celebrity/athlete/wealthy person throwing money at their sin and getting away with it. (she woke up grumpy)

Oh boy! Don't get mom going! The nicest thing we have to say at the moment is grrrrrrrrrrrrrr and I hope he gets EXACTLY what he deserves and we'll be nice and leave it at that!

That is what help give pitbulls a bad name. :( I think that dog fighting is awful. It's one thing if they are living in the wild and doing it on their own to survive, etc. but why make it happen when they could have warm, loving homes?

I agree with you hounds. This guy, if guilty, should spend a long time in jail, never be allowed to play for the NFL again and never be allowed near dogs, cats or children (don't they say kids with a history of violence towards animals are more likely to committ violence against people?)What can we do to help put a stop to dog fighting. Isn't it still legal in a lot of places?

Oh my goodness! My Mom just got done ranting and said almost the very same things! She's hoping the NFL steps up and does the right thing but apparently she's not real optimistic. She just emailed them a letter.

My mom and dad were very upset about this too. It's terrible how people who are rich or famous enough can get away with anything.
