Happy 4th of July!!

Hi Everypup and Girl Girl! We hope all you doggies in the USA had a great 4th of July, we sure did! Let's see....to start off the day Bear and I got to go to Aunt Jan's house and there were lots of people and our cuzins were there too!

Here's Beethovan and Callie the Cat, they're our cuzins. Don't they look like stuffies?!?!

Next we met Joe aka Snowball for the first time. He might be little but he's a BULLY. I wouldn't even look at him after he kept yelling at us. How could somedog not love us?! We don't get it.Bear was thinking he and Callie were really bonding...they were touching noses and sniffin' each other... All of a sudden, sweet Callie turned crazy and tried to eat Bear!! (Don't worry, he escaped!) I hope this picture doesn't scare you guys.

Do you like my USA bandana? This was our other surprise from Sherman, Penny and Lola in our box! We all got em so we got to show them off today! Thanks again, guys!

Our really nice cuz Buddy was there too! We wanted him to spend the night with us today, but his social calendar was already filled for tomorrow. Maybe he can soon though.

We got to spend time with our Nanu too. You might remember her from her racy bikini party pictures. Here we are giving her some love.

LOOK NANOOK!!! Our Aunt Jan has you as her computer wallpaper! You're famous down here in Texas. (Although we're a little suprised we're not on there)

Bear got to see his Fairy Dog-Parents who found him and took care of him too! Hi Mike and Sharon! We love you, thank you for our new brother!!!

Finally we headed home and it was Dot and Sam's turn to go somewhere. I'll turn this over to Sam now...

Dot and I had to wait ALL day to get to go somewhere, but we lost the coin toss so I guess it was fair. We headed out to the dog playground!

We finally got there and it was a big mud pit from all the rain, but Mom let us play anyway! The only bad thing was we were the only other dogs there so Mom had to play with us instead. She was trying to lure us up there but we're no dummies.

We ran and ran, made lots of poop and boy were we tired. I think we're out of shape. We even got to get muddy, that's SO cool.We finally were too tired to run anymore so they made us leave. First we had to be hosed off though. Yuck.

I tried to revolt and refuse to jump in, but eventually I had no choice. :( Dot was already a prisoner in there. I slept all the way home though.Once we got home it was Thrawn's turn. Since he can't do too much he and Mom decided to go to our park a few houses down and check out the rain and storm damage. Here he is...

Thrawn here. Like 14 hours after we woke up it was finally my turn to get out for a while. Probably for the best, who wants to go to a silly playground anyway? Mom and I walked down the park and it was pretty fun, here I am on the way. This is our street, we live at the top of the hill so it's a pretty easy walk down to the park.

One of the really big trees got hit by lightning during one of the storms. I think that's the storm that Tucker almost fainted during.

We walked over to the kids playground so I could inspect it too, nothing to report.I decided I was done checking out the park so we headed down the street a little more. Don't worry, Mom only dropped my leash for a second. I was getting too tired to run away and besides, she's a good maid.

We decided to walk home another way so I wouldn't have to go up the big hill. My back legs were getting really tired and I had started kinda dragging my feet so Mom was worried. Once I saw my house ahead of me I perked right up though. Here I am STILL pounding the pavement. I'm not really into this fitness craze.

We're all home now, Tucker and Dot have had their fireworks pills and are currently watching the rainbow colored bones fly across the room. We're pooped out though and going to bed early. We hope everypup and their parents had a great day!! -The Brat Pack

Let me at the cat! How dare that thing attack my perfect Bear!

You guys have the greatest dog playground I have ever seen. The playground here are nothing even remotely like that. Wow!

Hey guys,
Oh wow, your parents are so wonderful. They actually planned so everydog got a chance to go somewhere. :) I'm sure you had a fun fun time...whether it was visiting relatives, going to the dog park or just taking a stroll.

Oh my dog...I'm tired just reading about your day! I think my Mom should have gotten my some fireworks medicine because I'm not having a good evening with all the loud noises.

Lots of Licks, Ruby

She's torturing the lot of you...! First poor Bear get's accosted by a cat, then Dot & Sam are forced to do an assault course, then poor Thrawn is dragged out for a marathon.

What did you guys do to deserve this on a holiday? You must have been baaaad!

We have to take separate outings too because I really cannot tell the difference between my cousin and a stuffie. It looks like you all had a good day.

It's so nice to see Thrawn walking around so well, considering the problems he has had! How wonderful!! Big kisses to him!

Chase the cat I say.

Leave the workgrounds (playgrounds?) alone.

You set a fine example Thrawn, nice pace of walk.

P.S. We TOTALLY think your ma is wise. Obviously--she got rescued by YOU guys. But she has given fishables to people who are not as friendly to doggy odors who gave them BACK because the smell was so objectionable. Good thing she wasn't at our house the other day when we had the Gas of Doom!

Sounds like y'all had a really great 4th! We didn't do much here. Just watched mom get ticked at some wheelbarrow and then listened to the booms going on outside. We don't like the flashing booms.

We've nominated Dot and Sam as Rockin' Girl Bloggers. You girls can get your badge on our blog!

Purrs & kisses,
Sammy, Scully & Maggie
