"'Cause I'm free..."

"To do what I want
Any old time
I said I'm free
To do what I want
Any old time"

That's right, you heard it correctly!! I'm OFF restriction!! I can tinkle and poop without a leash...I can go out alone...I can run like a crazy dog around the yard....ALL OF IT!!! WOOOHOOOOO!

Yesterday I spent the day at Dr. Bill's and got a great report so he said I could play again! Here I am on the way. It kinda looks like the Dachsies country pictures, but we're still in the middle of the city! See the traffic in the next picture? Cool, huh. I'm like a faux-city dog. You might be wondering why I'm in the front seat I guess cause usually we have to ride in the back. It was yesterday morning and we were on our way there, sometimes I get a nervous stomach cause it's still kinda new to me. Anyway, we were in the middle of the airport cause it's faster to cut through that way and I couldn't help it, but I had to make a poop. Mom didn't smell it yet (I think she needs her nose checked) so I threw a big fit to be up front (I sure didn't want to be stuck back there with it) and since she was driving she couldn't really do anything about my barging in. Sure enough, about 20 seconds later Mom got a whiff of my "surprise", but there wasn't anything to do cause we couldn't pull over anywhere. I have to say it was pretty impressive, about the size of a Chihuahua.AND you won't believe this but guess what else?!? Dr. Bill says I'm still too skinny so I get to go on a backwards diet to GAIN weight! How cool is that?? I haven't told Dot & Sam cause I'm afraid they'll beat me up in jealousy. After that great day there I got to go back to Mom's office for a little while, here's me celebrating my new freedom.

So I start my Revolution today and I get retested again in four months to make sure there's no more ick-worms hanging out. In the meantime I'm ready to paaawwty!!!

EXCELLENT BEAR!!! So glad to read your news. We aren't vets, but we think you do look a little thin - maybe you should visit my gramma's - she has really tasty lamb chops to fatten you up!!

Also Tucker - I love your duckie - he is about the size of all my water fowl toys put together!!! Very jealous.

Love to all - Dory

Aww Bear
It always takes a while to get used to the new home you have chosen.

You could look skinny, or it could be the camera. My mate Prince was well skinny when he found his furever home. I had a nasty coat and it was full of blood an' stuff.

You look very handsome and must be well om the way to recovery. You have found a cool pack.

Oh my dog - a REVERSE DIET! That is the most brilliantly fantasticly wonderful news you could ever get!!!!!

Oh, and good grief - I make poopies everywhere and my girl always forgives me... especially when I'm not feeling 100%. And your mom is a lot cooler that my girl, what with all the big toys and yummy food, so don't worry about it. :-)

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!! So good to hear you can run and play with the rest of the pack now, Bear! And extra food to boot? What a lucky pup. You can tell by looking at that last picture that you definetly need to gain some weight. Have fun with that! Belly Rubs, Tasha & Eva.

Hi, Bear.
I am so happy to hear your good news!
That chichuhua's sized poop is a good reason to be in the front seat!
You need that diet, you look very skinny in that last picture.

WooHoo!~ Great news Bear!~ Now you can wrestle and rough house with the rest of the pack.

Wow...you did a poop the size of a small dog? Now that is what I call impressive. It's too bad your Mom didn't take a picture of it!!

I'm on revolution too. Not for wormies...but for those evil little buggers they call fleas. Hopefully this stuff works.

Yayyyyyyyyy! That's such great news, pal. Do some romping for me. I wish I would get a diagnosis of underweight. Sigh. You're like my sissy who gets to eat whatever whenever--and she doesn't even like food that much!

Congratulations Bear!

Big Happy Wags,

P.S. How did the Brat Pack do with those storms that came through last night? I don't know how bad it got at your house, but it was pretty nasty here and I was scared! I tried to get into bed with Mom and Dad a couple of times.

Congratulations, Bear! You do look a bit underweight in that photo, but you are a Lab, so you will probably have no problem eating a little extra.

Hurrah! Bear is free at last! We just knew the doggie doctor was going to give you a clean bill of health. And you have to gain weight? Roxie and Sammy are jealous but still happy for you. Once you start eating more, are you poops going to be even bigger? Now that is something your mom will need to take a picture of to share with the whole blogging world!

wonderful news...particularly regarding the diet! I am jealous. I must confess that I too have had mishaps in the back seat. But it wasn't my fault...dad picked the #%$%&&^ road!
