It seemed like a good idea...

...at the time.

Mom gave us bananas for dessert yesterday and I reeeeeaalllly liked it. Here I am chowing down.
SOOOO it only seems logical that since she fed me this then it's an approved Husky food which means I can eat it whenever I want and not get in trouble. Right? You know I'm right. Well there was a big bunch of these on the counter and I woke up hungry in the middle of the night so I helped myself. I couldn't quite figure out how to peel them with my paws so I went ahead and ate the skin. Not bad, but kinda dry. Mom wasn't pleased when she came to give me my pills at 6 this morning and saw the crumbs. Now Dr. Bill said I might have some poop problems but I don't care cause it was worth it.

People - if you bark at them to feed you, they complain. If you make your own snacks, they complain. Nothing makes them happy.

Hey Thrawn, when mistress was little her parents had a Ridgie. He fancied a banana one evening so he jumped up carefully and took one from the bunch, peeled it nicely, ate the banana (natch) and then left the skin on the floor. Otherwise they wouldn't have known.

You can't win either way - learn to peel bananas and leave the skin - they still catch you.

Hope Bear is well.

Ruffs, Pippa

PS I've not had banana - is it worth the effort and the grief?

Hey Thawn, I'm not too sure if that bunch of bananas will come out as solid poop! But what the heck it's probably worth it. Don't you wish you had thumbs to help with the damn skin??

Uh Oh! Hope you don't get Banana Butt!!! Those tasty 'Naners don't agree with my belly & I was sick for 2 days.

Huskies have stomachs of Steel, though. You should be fine!

Thrawn--how could you get in trouble? Bananas are health food! Mmmmm. I love bananas. You may have given me an idea--I will need my sissy to give me a boost to the counter, though.

When you're hungry and no human is around, a pup has to fend for themselves. We see nothing wrong with what you did. Its a matter of survival! Our thoughts a prayers are with Bear as he goes through his treatment. Hope is feeling better now. Happy Mother's Day Maryann! Belly Rubs, Tasha & Eva.

Yay bananas- We love them, but our Mama will only give us little pieces. We're gonna try to help ourselves sometime too, so we can get a whole banana just like you.
