Thrawn

I woke up pretty early this morning (even before pill time) and just wanted to pace the house over and over. Mom had to get up too since I can't pace unsupervised. She dozed off on the couch and I'm not sure how it happened but I got stuck in the thing that holds the TV trays. Finally the banging woke her up I guess and she rescued me. I didn't think she should have taken pictures first though.

I'm just having a bad day I guess. I'm having a harder time than usual walking and getting around plus I've been stuck a few times like under the table and in corners. Mom looks worried and gave me some magic pills to calm me.

Thrawn

PS from Maryann - Please don't think I keep him drugged all the time, but after four hours of pacing this morning and running into everything I couldn't get him to rest. We have a vist to Dr. Bill later this week. He just seems to slowly be wearing down and I'm hoping the "getting stuck" in places is just because he's tired and not a sign of something else. :(

PM Update - Thrawn seems to be making a turn for the worst. He's pretty disoriented and almost seems to have lost all of his sight. Dr. Bill doesn't get back until Weds or Thurs so trying to keep him as comfortable as possible before then. Since he knows him as well as I do I want him to be able to make an evaluation if possible before going any further. I know we're at the end of the line medically for him and I don't want him to be miserable. I don't know what to do.

Thrawn,
First off, I am glad you turned your head on the table tray picture. You can respond back to mom that it was an imposter in that picture and since your face cannot be seen fully, it can't be you - ha rooo!

Second, I am SOOOO upset that you are having a bad day. I have been hoping and praying that you will get better and you just have to!!! Maybe mom can make a call and leave a message for Dr. Bill tomorrow. Maybe if he hears it, he can call your mom tomorrow and talk to you???

Hugs! Keep your chin up!

You look funny in that picture. However, we are having a hard time laughing at you because we feel really bad that you're not feeling so hot. We hope your vet can help you. In the meantime, we will be sending up puppy prayers for you.

Oh dear, this is not good. I had a min poodle who survived for three years well (up until the last three months) with the same condition and I currently have one older mixed breed who went blind about two years ago - he still struggles with it and it doesn't help that he (being Corgidor size) has two rambuncious standard poodle brothers to avoid being trampled by.

Heartbreaking, for sure, but not to be given up on! You are a fine mom Maryanne.
