Update on Thrawn

He's doing better today - thank you for all the well wishes. He's still pretty weak and can barely stand to use the bathroom, let me just say here he's no lightweight. ;) It appears the seizures are over for this round and hopefully the recovery time will be short. I'm hoping to catch up on sleep now.

I'm constantly awed at how strong he is. It's amazing. I'm sorry if I freak out on here sometimes when he's sick. He's just my heart-kid and he's been through so much. I keep making myself prepare for the worst, but then when he gets sick I try to sell my soul that it's not "this time". (if that makes sense) Thank you all again for the support, can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

To lighten things up a little...

  1. Mary Ann,
Hey, we have all been through a scary situation while one of our 4-legged family members were sick (many, many times!). I hope you were able to get some rest, & that Thrawn is feeling stronger.

Went to that website, almost fell off the chair laughing while watching it cuz it was so cute!!!.

    Take care,

  2. I have seizures, and they are very stupid! Stress will sometimes trigger them. They ran in my litter, as well.

  3. If you can't be real with the DWB set, who can you be real with! Friends are for helping...and you have a lot here. That video is hilarious! Very, very funny! Woofs, Johann

  4. Maryann, I'm so glad to hear he's doing better. And I'm happy you still have your sense of humor intact. I love the Elf videos.

He has an amazing spirit & will to live. That is a direct reflection on you & the pack. He's trying to keep you on your toes...and add a few more grey hairs to your head (I owe all of mine to Sherman!).

Get some rest & we'll keep sending lots of prayers & healing thoughts.

  11. Echoing what Johann said; If you can't dump your problems on us, then what are we all good for? Everyone with DWB understands loving and cherishing our four legged friends, and because we are a "community" we are here for one another when there is a need. We're all pullin for Thrawn, and hope you can do a bit of relaxing this weekend.

We're all lucky to find love in all forms--furry and human (but let's face it, you humans are most lucky to get to be with US.)
